European Corporate Sustainability Compliance Review

A multi-national Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business wanted to better understand and get ahead of existing and looming corporate sustainability reporting requirements for its European business, in order to put a business case forward for relevant investment and create a strategy in place for preparedness.

We underwent a thorough discovery phase to identify key metrics relating to the size, scale and reach of the brand in a number of markets across the EMEA territory and mapped this against our proprietary comprehensive database of global reporting regulations and legislation to identify which entities fell into scope for compliance. Once identified, the regulations were prioritised into a clear RAG alongside a timeline for compliance or readiness.

A set of easy-to-digest 2-pager explainer fact sheets were created to help summarise at a high level the relevant legislation and regulations, along with an action plan and timeline for preparedness.
